About Me
I’m Spring. I make art. Born and raised in Southwest Washington State, I hugged trees before it was cool but can also operate a chainsaw (I know, I know – how PNW of me…) Now. after a 20 year absence, I’m back in the small town where I grew up.
It takes a certain constitution to live and paint in the Northwest. Mountains, forests, ocean, and unrelenting rain… it’s an amount of grey you can’t fathom until you’ve survived a ten month winter here. Whether engulfed in or emerging from the grey, I am consumed by the region and have a particular affinity for its small towns and the people who live in them.
In addition to my regionally informed work in watercolor and oil, I’m also currently available for commissions.
Thanks for visiting and be sure to contact me with any questions or if you’d like to make some of my art your art.

LOVE working with Spring! Thank you SO much for creating a beautiful and perfect art piece. So easy to work with and such talent. You took an image and created so quickly a very special gift that had incredible timeframes. Such an artist! One of the best! We are so very happy and will always turn to Spring to create memories and gifts. She is so talented! Thank you from our family and friends for making this gift possible.
This was my favorite photo of my daughter on a trip to Hawaii. My daughter has a love for the ocean, as well as art, so I wanted to have it painted for her 16th birthday. I didn’t expect it to look SPOT ON to the photo. The detail is incredible, which is not a small feat with watercolor. Amazing! Spring was quick to respond and get this delivered to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This was my second time purchasing a water color painting and it was absolutely perfect! It was a gift for a family member and they couldn’t have loved it more!
